How to View and Order Original Images
If you would like to view any of the original images in this collection, please bring the image identification number (e.g., A000492) with you when you come to the Northeastern University Libraries, Archives and Special Collections Department.
If you would like to order an image, contact the Archives with the image identification number. A duplication fee may apply. See: https://library.northeastern.edu/archives-special-collections/visitors/fee-structure for fee structure. An additional publication fee is applicable to commercial use.
Copyright and Reproduction Rights
Some images may be protected by the U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S.C.). Additionally, the reproduction of some materials may be restricted by terms of gift agreements with donors, licensing, or trademarks.
The nature of historical archival collections means that copyright or other information about restrictions may be difficult or even impossible to determine. Whenever possible, information has been provided about copyright owners and other restrictions in the “Rights” field of each image’s metadata. This information is provided as a service to help users determine the appropriate use of an item, but that determination ultimately rests with the user, and it is the user’s obligation to determine and satisfy copyright or other use restrictions when publishing or otherwise distributing materials found in Northeastern University’s collections.
Transmission or reproduction of protected items beyond that allowed by fair use requires the written permission of the copyright owners. Commercial distribution, publication, or exploitation of Northeastern University files is specifically prohibited.
